Stages, From Self-Discovery to Thriving
Days a Week We Are Reachable
Our Approach
Healing rarely moves in a straight line, but it does move in a familiar shape. We built our practice around four stages so that wherever you are, you always know what comes next.
We start by understanding your emotions, your values and the strength you already carry, often without realising it.
Working through what happened, at your pace, so old wounds stop dictating today's decisions.
Rebuilding energy, routine and purpose, one steady week at a time.
Growing into relationships, work and communities that continue to support you long after therapy ends.

From Our Founder
Rose Nyakato Kiiza founded Thriving in Safe Places after more than twenty-five years of public health and humanitarian work across Uganda, much of it spent sitting with people through the hardest seasons of their lives.
"I have watched people carry pain quietly for years because they never had a place that felt safe enough to put it down. That is the space we built here."
Rose Nyakato Kiiza, Founder & Chief Executive DirectorIn The Field
